New Faces of BWR

On the plane, I designed the faces of three Predacons and one Maximal!!!! I'm so proud of myself! I inked them last night after my audition and put them up here. I didn't get in btw, which is a shame, because ArtsEd was my first choice, but meh. I've got one more on Friday.

Anyway, you've met all of these guys, albeit briefly, if you've read BWR. But...you still don't know who they are, even if you have, so let me go ahead and introduce them.

Top left: Name: Steelclaw. Faction: Predacon. Gendre: Male. Beast Mode: Coyote.
Nothing particularly special about his design, except I was trying to be less not-original. And I gave him a weird beardy thing

Top right: Name: Sky Scraper. Faction: Maximal. Gendre: Male. Beast Mode: Albatros.
He came out a lot younger than I anticipated. But now that I look back at the brief introduction I gave him, it made sense. He tries to be authoritative with Slapstix (his seal companion), but that little marine joker always throws it back in his face.
I actually did a bit of thinking on this design. Without the goggles, he looked very plain. It's amazing what a little detail can do. Then I added the slides at the side of his face. He pulls the goggles down when he's flying, particularly in high winds, enhancing his already long-range visual sensors, and he can zoom in on objects/people from quite faraway (but not as far as Air Razor, I don't think).
That neat little beard of his becaomes like a pendulum when he twitches his mouth when he's thinking hard. I thought that was a cute idea to define his personality.

This was the first one I started drawing. I didn't want her to look too much like my other femmes, so i just played around with different shapes and components. I think she looks wickedly cool. And she's my sister's favourite. (I'm finally converting her! Mwahaha! )
Those small little bits sticking out next to her outh are the two halves of her mask. They close to hide her mouth, so that when she's sneaking up on people in camoflage mode (hence her name), no one hears her breathing. She has the ability to cloak herself completely. How? Nobody knows yet, but Rhinox, Skylark and Lightwing are getting to the bottom of it!
The things that look like round face plates at the side of her face are actually chameleon eye socket...things. She can pull them over her own eyes, and then she can move them in any direction to see what's going on....You didn't think that ability was limited to beast mode, did you?

A visor so that she can protect her sensitive optics underwater. She rarely does it, but it can be optionally removed. The spikes on her head are actually the frills you find on an iguana's head. And those webby things sticking out of her ears, while they seem unnecessary are very functional. They are folded away most of the time, but come out when she needs them. And the reason the lights are blinking is because she is a hacking and communications expert. Her current mission is to track down thye maximals' underwater surveillance and communications posts and hack their transmissions. you go, iguana girl!

And there you have it. Four more Beast Warriors to add to my (half)ticked list of designed characters. I say half because there are still their bodies to do I suppose I drew these because Koyako was asking me if I would eventually design all of my 60+ characters O_o I said eventually...bold for emphasis. But it gave me ideas for things to doodle on the plane, so...tada! And thanks for the motivation, Koyako!

And of course, comes the usualy disclaimer stuff. Beast Wars isn't mine, it's Hasbro's, but BWR and these guys are mine. Nyeuh!

Anyone got any ideas for colour schemes? I've got ideas, but nothing solid yet. I'm only intent on greens for Camophlage, but since she's a chameleon, I'm open to changes. Ha! Gettit?
